Ignition Pt 2

Set points gap .35mm and checked for spark across points, then held ht lead close to engine and cranked - no spark. Tomorrow its out with the multimeter and check connections.. The HT lead out of the coil has 2 leads, one went to the distributor, the other one to nowhere, this doesn't look right so will read the manual on this one!


Wheres that 2nd lead supposed to go?

Removed the battery next to allow better access to the oil filter, happy with what i found underneath, just some surface rust on the tray and none on the chassis rail 


Next off with the oil filter, i will replace and change oil before trying to start up


Not much else done today so a couple of photos to finish
